Reply with quote | #1 | There's no salt water fishermen out there? Heck, Lil Ol' Delaware only has a few miles of Ocean front and we have some of the best fishing on the east coast.
I own a 19' Seaswirl Walkaround (which I can't walk AROUND, LOL) with a 115 HP Evenrude 2 stroke and I go fishin every time I get a chance. If the weather is too bad to go out in the boat, I fish from the beach, if the beach is swamped with big waves, I go to a saltwater fishing pier... if it's too bad for the pier, I'll throw a few sea trout in my bath tub and go. The main thing is that I GO!! ... not that I'm sitting around wondering what I can do. Shoot, If I have to I'll crawl but I'm GOING fishin.
I've adapted my boat a bit so I can get in and out of it on a floating dock and I've had to change the pilot's chair a bit so I can see over the bow but I can still go out in her.
Am I the only salt water nut here? Geeze, it's going to get lonely in this forum being the only one. __________________ ...RUN FAST ... BARK LOUD! ... |

Reply with quote | #3 | Nice vessel! I, being from Indiana originally, have been slow taking to the Sea. I have done all my salt water fishing from the beach. No boat, so.... One day I will set sail and troll Atlantis, but till then I will stand on the beach and LAUNCH the line out there. __________________ Shawn "Weebles" Horsley
